Job Overview:
We're on the hunt for a highly driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The SDR will play a crucial role in drumming up new business opportunities by identifying promising leads and forging strong relationships with potential clients. This position is key in establishing a solid sales pipeline and calls for a proactive, well-organised individual with a real zest for sales and engaging with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Qualify leads through strategic research and effective communication.
- Actively stay in touch with leads through strategic follow up
- Engage with prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media channels.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and sales executives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize strategies and achieve targets.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and updates in the CRM system.
- Monitor and report on lead generation and qualification efforts
- Keep abreast of market trends, industry shifts and competitors to better your outreach strategy
- Hit or surpass monthly goals for lead gen and appointment setting
Career Progression: This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth within Beakon. Successful SDR's will have the opportunity to advance to the role of Business Development Manager (BDM) after a 12-month period. As a BDM, you will take on greater responsibilities, including managing the full lifecycle of the software sale, developing sales strategies, and mentoring SDR’s.
The person:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, recruitment or related fields is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
