With a fresh rebrand, we are expanding our reach and impact and seeking a visionary Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our passionate sales team.

The Role:

As the Sales and Marketing Manager at HERO, you will lead a team of 8 sales professionals that consists of 2 team leaders, three account managers and 3 BDMs. At this time in our rebrand of HERO we are going through rapid growth and transformation so you’ll strategically plan and drive this across Australia and you will be reporting into the CEO.

  • Proven Experience: With at least 5 years in sales and marketing, you've honed your skills, conquered challenges, and delivered results that speak volumes.

What you’ll be doing: 

1.Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Marketing Strategies: Have a sound understanding and be able to work with Director of Marketing and the wider marketing team to generate B2B marketing strategies that the marketing team will execute and bring to life.

2.Team Leadership and Management:

  • Oversee a team of 8 sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve goals.
  • Manage team dynamics to ensure high performance and morale
  • Recruit to grow the team 

3.Market Analysis:

  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to adapt strategies and operations effectively
  • Use insights from market research to inform decision-making and strategic planning

4.Sales and Revenue Targets:

  • Monitor the team’s performance and track sales results against targets
  • Develop innovative tactics and promotions to generate sales and improve customer engagement
  • Budget Management:
  • Prepare and manage the budgets for sales and marketing campaigns

5.Customer Relationships:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts
  • Oversee customer service activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

6.Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and customer service, to ensure alignment and coherence across all initiatives
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed to execute marketing strategies

7.Reporting and Analytics:

  • Utilise CRM and other analytics tools to track sales data and marketing performance
  • Generate reports for CEO highlighting results, challenges, and opportunities

8.Innovation and Adaptation:

  • Encourage innovation within the team to find new and better ways to reach customers and achieve business objectives.
