About Renergi
Renergi Pty Ltd (https://renergi.net/) develops and commercialises competitive and environmentally friendly renewable energy technologies to establish a negative-emission bio-based circular economy. Renergi is in the process of commissioning its first commercial-scale pyrolysis plant in Collie to convert biomass and municipal solid wastes into commercial products such as biochar, wood vinegar and bio-oil. The process will divert significant amounts of wastes from landfills and generate high-value carbon credits.
Renergi is seeking a highly motivated marketing/sales professional to work within its team as a Sales Manager.
Main responsibility
The position will be strongly focused on the marketing and sale of biochar, wood vinegar, bio-oil and carbon credits and the management of relationships with Renergi’s customers. Reporting to the CEO, the main responsibilities of this position will include:
- Formulating marketing and sales strategies.
- Implementing the approved marketing and sales strategies.
- Managing trials using Renergi’s products.
- Managing the relationships with Renergi’s customers.
- Managing Renergi’s key supply contracts, e.g. supply of biomass.
- Contributing to the development of new projects.
- Other tasks assigned by the CEO.
Skills & Attributes
- Proven skills and sound track records in marketing and sales.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in Agronomy and Soil Science in Australia.
- Sound understanding of carbon credit markets.
- Prior experience in pyrolysis and/or pyrolysis products (e.g. biochar, wood vinegar and bio-oil) will be highly valued.
- Prior experience in the waste management and/or energy industry will be highly valued.
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and flexible in a variety of working environments and willing to work in small, innovative and dynamic teams.
- True team player showing initiatives and a “can do” attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
An attractive remuneration package, consisting of a base salary and bonuses based on the achievement of sales targets, will be offered, commensurate with the appointee’s track records.
