SNA Europe (Australia) is currently seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to fill the position of Sales Representative. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager you will manage an existing sales territory driving customer loyalty for increased market share and sales volumes.
The successful applicant will be part of a high performing, close knit team and supported by a well differentiated, market leading product range and a well proven business vision and strategy.
Location of the position is needed for the Adelaide area preferred. The role will require regional travel once every six weeks.
Key tasks include:
- Servicing existing accounts, by generating orders to support and exceed targets and establishing new accounts via planning and calling on existing or potential distribution and other trade outlets.
- Developing and enacting plans to support retail distribution by driving “end user” activities to assist will product sell through and brand awareness.
- Developing effective call plans to ensure the territory is visited in a timely, and cost effective manner.
- Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Preparing and presenting product presentations at all customer levels, including product training.
- Preparing weekly sales reports and utilising CRM to record customer interaction and historical information.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and other applicable areas.
- Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and liaising with applicable business areas.
- Understanding and delivering effective retail merchandising.
Required skills:
- Previous external sales experience.
- Tooling or similar industry sales experience.
- A technical aptitude, with a demonstrated understanding of tooling products and applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both within the internal team environment and externally with customers.
- High level presentation skills,
- Computer proficiency.
- Effective territory management, planning and time management skills.
- Drivers Licence.
