Job description

HSR Southern Cross is a leading provider of waste equipment solutions, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of innovative waste management equipment. We take pride in our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Our products include but not limited to Hook Loaders, Skip Loaders and Rear Loader Compactors.


As a Sales Representative at HSR Southern Cross you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and growing our customer base in the waste equipment industry in your territory. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing solutions that address their waste management needs, and achieving sales targets to drive company growth.


Key Responsibilities:
1.Customer Relationship Management:
• Identify and target potential customers in various industries, such as waste management companies, recycling facilities, and municipalities.
• Nurture existing relationships and continue to build on them.
• Build and maintain long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.
• Understand customer needs, challenges, and preferences to provide tailored solutions.


2. Product Knowledge:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of both HSR Southern Cross products, the industry and HSRSX competitors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to effectively communicate the value of our solutions.


3.Sales and Revenue Generation:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase the unique benefits of our products as opposed to competition.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to achieve sales targets.


4.Market Research and Analysis:
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and threats.
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to refine products and services.

5.Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales team, product development, and accounts to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Work closely with suppliers and truck dealers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Management and Stake Holders
• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes, improve product offerings, and enhance customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:
• Proven track record of success in sales, essentially in the truck sales, manufacturing or waste equipment industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
