Due to expansion into overseas markets, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative - National, based in our Wauchope office. As a key member of our sales force, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our cutting-edge road construction machinery to clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers within the road construction industry, including contractors, government agencies, and construction firms.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation efforts.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our road construction machinery.
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our products in the market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to expand brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide post-sales support, including handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with the technical team when necessary.
- Partner to facilitate sales with our dealer partners.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the road construction machinery or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of road construction machinery equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations and negotiate with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software for managing and tracking sales activities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Valid driver's license.
