The purpose of this role is to eventually manage your own portfolio of construction clients whilst supporting senior members of the team on more complex accounts; taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery.
Working with the Client Manager your key accountabilities include:
- Assist with identifying insurable risks to your clients, designing appropriate insurance solutions and negotiating and managing the best deal in the global insurance market for them.
- Managing direct relationships with our underwriting partners and other industry contacts
- Managing direct relationship with clients
- Assist with achieving team budget, sales plan and debtors
- Providing mentoring and coaching to more junior employees
- Assist with new business tenders and development team
- Promoting the Gallagher brand within the local business community, the region and nationally
This is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking an experienced senior broker in a similar role, ideally with exposure to large construction accounts plus:
- Strong account management experience ideally with exposure to construction clients
- Strong commitment to client service excellence
- A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate and professional disposition
- Sales orientated with the ability to assist in building a long term pipeline to support new business growth
