    As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the account management, revenue growth and value creation (all parties) across a large portfolio of key hotel suppliers within Qantas Group Accommodation (QGA).

    Deliverables include working with a portfolio of partners to grow Group booking volume and revenue (billings and commission) to optimise business outcomes. Key facets of the role include management and maximisation of existing partners, identification and solicitation of new clients, negotiation and implementation of contracts and tactical offers, collation of accurate and regular performance analytics and tracking, ensuring relevant stakeholders are engaged in all required facets of our partnerships, plus any other related strategic company goals identified from time to time.

    The position will work closely with the Partnership and Procurement leadership team and the broader Account Management and marketing team, with a view to achieving QGA’s ongoing commercial goals as well as contributing to the ongoing development of the Account Management team in all facets of hotel procurement from online (always on), tactical offers and packages.

    Other key areas of responsibility will include; creation of Account Plans in order to identify product strategies that deliver on targets at destination, chain and hotel level, whilst ensuring a consistent positive projection of our brand in the market. Developing relationships and undertaking negotiation of hotelier commercial agreements with senior and strategic hotel relationships are fundamental to the role. Ultimately, this role also requires analysis of data, supplier reporting and, operating with a deep understanding of existing commercial systems and processes.

    You’ll have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in tourism and travel distribution
  • Minimum 5 years account management experience
  • Experience across multiple geographies and working with different business models including functional knowledge across marketing, sales, distribution and customer facing business areas highly regarded
  • Experience or deep understanding of Loyalty programmes also highly regarded
  • Highly developed analytical skills with a focus on developing insights not merely analysis
  • Exceptional Account Management skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to build strong client relationships with a view to create value for customers and partners
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team, provide guidance and development
  • Ability to work diplomatically across cultures with international based stakeholders
