Grigg Advisory is a small Chartered Accountant practice in Port Macquarie with a current team of 5 accountants & 2 bookkeepers in addition to our principal & administration staff.
We have a very interesting client base, including some niche markets, many clients around Australia, and also some international clients. We specialise in the provision of business services, business advisory & SMSF services.
About the role
A great opportunity exists for a manager or a senior accountant who is ready to make the set up to manager to join our business and assist with providing a great service to our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Lead a small team & report directly to our principal
- Be responsible for managing the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS's for a client portfolio
- Be responsible for managing the maintenance of clients bookkeeping software
- Be responsible for providing limited, simple advice to clients
- Be responsible for training team members
About you
As the successful candidate, you will be degree qualified and have:
- CA or CPA qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years full time Australian accounting experience in an accounting practice
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of MYOB, Xero & Excel
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience with MYOB AE would be advantageous
- Experience with SMSF's would also be advantageous
