Residential Aged Care Assessors in Western Australia to conduct high-quality, independent Residential Aged Care assessments for classification and funding purposes.
While direct care isn't part the day-to-day work - instead, you'll apply your leadership experience to an approved process that sees you:
- Oversee the completion of assessments within given timeframes
- Carry a small assessment load
- Collaborate with other practitioners in your team to accurately complete AN-ACC funding assessment tools
- Provide in-situ clinical and problem-solving support to the Assessment team
- Assist Assessors to achieve Unrestricted Assessor status
- Be the key contact at the facility for the duration of the assessment period

To be considered, you will need:
- 5 years’ experience in Aged Care or a related area of health care, including working with people with dementia
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in Aged Care including working with people with dementia.
- Demonstrated team leadership, development, and coaching experience
- Able to conduct clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools.
- A genuine desire to improve the lives of older Australians.
- Your own vehicle as travel will be required within your region.
