Under general direction, the Senior Analyst-Programmer:
Analyses project and system design requirements and provides feedback related to the project or maintenance tasks;
delivers program modules to the required specifications within the solution design plan;
runs tests and provides reports on system performance and reliability; and
debugs, maintains and documents programs and applications.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
Experience working in an application development role showing an understanding of application development technologies in an environment that utilises critical thinking and analytical skills which follow a development lifecycle (including security management)
Demonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions, including having knowledge of best practice principles, methods and processes related to contemporary development, operation lifecycle and security management issues.
Working knowledge of Open Service-Orientated Architecture methods; Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology; and ISO/IEC 27000 series of Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards.
Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
