About the role
Our client is seeking a Sydney based Distribution Manager, responsible for growing the firm's Asset Management business via execution of a dedicated external Business Development and relationship strategy. The role involves managing both internal and external stakeholders, providing innovative investment solutions to help stakeholders grow their business and improve their client value proposition. The Distribution Managers primary responsibilities involve representing the firm in the marketplace as well as driving the growth and enhancement of the firm's managed accounts and investment solutions to financial advisers across Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Execute sales strategy to grow external footprint across Australia
- Target financial Advisers across metro Sydney, Greater NSW, & Canberra
- Work closely with team and management to deliver on agreed individual, team and group objectives and key results
- Develop existing and build new external adviser relationships and sustainable FUM growth.
- Professional execution of activity and sales process
- Provide market intelligence for the wider business
- Work closely with external stakeholders (platform partners, fund managers, industry associations) to grow the business.
- Demonstrated platform or funds management distribution experience
- Understanding of managed accounts
- Strong knowledge of Australian financial planning landscape and strong pipeline management skills
- Sales/relationship management skills and experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Accountable and self-motivated
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce or related field
