We have rare opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our amazing Culinary team (four month contract with possibility of extension). To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a busy fast paced kitchen and will bring a fresh and innovative approach to our team.

The Opportunity…
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:
- Working alongside the kitchen team across outlets and events
- Leading and training all kitchen colleagues on menu execution, techniques, ALLSafe and HACCP
- Ordering stock and maintaining par levels
- Assisting in menu planning, implementation and execution
- Controlling food and wage costs, ensuring they come in on budget
- Assisting in special event planning and execution eg: BBQs, Christmas, New Years functions
- Assisting in changing menus for the benefit of regular return guests
- Menu costing experience
Qualifications
About you…
Qualifications and Experience:

- You have a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in all section preferable, including banquets, buffet and al la carte
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with great attention to detail
- Vibrant personality, professional and always well-presented
- A positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience in stock control, ordering & menu planning, and knowledge of quality management systems
- HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
- Commitment to allergen protocols!
- Intermediate computer skills will be a requirement of this role
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Australian work rights
