What you'll be doing
Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District’s (ISLHD) Intensive Care Units (ICU) use a Clinical Information System (CIS) for the recording of patient information. The CIS Manager provides support, education, and troubleshooting for the use of the CIS software and the hardware needed to utilise the system. The CIS Manager assists end users both inside and outside ICU to gain access to or navigate/learn the system.
This role may need to liaise with local IT and Bio-medical staff about technical problems with computers, ventilators, bedside monitors, digiboxes etc. as well as eHealth Clinical Application Support Teams.
Support for the role is available from the Sydney based Clinical Application Support Team as well as other CIS Managers around the State via MS Teams.
The role involves weekly online meetings to design improvements to the system. The position will be working across all ICU sites within ISLHD.

Selection Criteria: * Demonstrated experience with computer functions, computer hardware and peripherals, Microsoft Office, basic report writing and advanced data interpretation skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or IT, willingness to obtain and or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of data management and data security.
