About the role
This is a newly created role and is of high importance within the business. Reporting to the General Manager you will be working alongside a supportive team, managing staff of up to 10! This is a role with a lot of variety and scope to grow within the business, a great opportunity to expand your knowledge base for the right person!
Key Responsibilities
As the successful applicant for this role, you will be responsible for;
- Overseeing factory staff with day to day operations and duties of a team of 10!
- Working to increase productivity for all product lines while decreasing expenses
- Making sure employees are following industry health and safety guidelines
- Providing guidance, motivation and support to employees
- Creating policies that increase efficiency without compromising product integrity or safety
- Being hands on and pitching in with work when busy as needed.
- Providing training and development to staff.
- A minimum of 5 + years as a Factory Manager.
- You must have industry experience in joinery or shopfitting!
- Exceptional communication skills and client liaison management abilities.
- Permanent residency or Australian citizen.
- An ability to work in cross cultural environments.
