You will support our Streaming Aggregation business during a significant period of evolution, with new revenue streams, new end to end operations and increased transactional complexity, to deliver insightful revenue and subscriber reporting.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Automation and Optimisation, you will provide independent validation of billing systems by developing key reconciliations and analytical tools to identify gaps in systems & processes that may cause revenue (and related) losses.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create & maintain end to end process maps for revenue generating business processes by understanding in detail how different transactions translate into data and assuring revenue and cost are being recognised in a correct manner
Delivery of stakeholder reporting to ensure key issues are communicated effectively
Distribute control & compliance reports to the wider business
Produce processes to ensure exceptions are flagged in timely manner
Maintain and administer data automation models that fits evolving business operations to foster right level of monitoring and controls to be in place
Review and interpret new revenue agreements to ensure appropriate reporting and assurance is maintained
Your experience
- Sound understanding of the billing & revenue generating process of a high-volume environment
Demonstrate a practical understanding of databases & data mining of large databases
Previous experience in the business environment that was covered by Sarbanes Oxley Act would be highly desirable
Inquisitive mindset in understand the data and connect the dots in different datasets
Knowledge of how to use Alteryx automation tools highly desirable
Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at various levels of the organisation
Strong organisational skills with ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team within a dynamic environment.
