About the role The purpose of this role is to support the Business Manager, STARS by providing: Assistance in the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecast process. Routine monitoring and analysis of business activities. Co-ordination of month-end financial activities to accurately record transactions in a timely manner. Assistance in the development of high-level advice to the Business Manager and other senior leaders that enables strategic decision making by the Service Line and Hospital executive to deal with ongoing change within the public health environment. A detailed understanding of the business functions, and a focus on efficiency and opportunities for improvement.
