As the Senior Financial Accountant you are responsible for driving and delivering the month-end and year-end close on timely manner and facilitate accurate financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to partner with stakeholders within NIDA and explain complex financial information in non-finance speak.
About You
- CPA / CA qualified with demonstrated accounting and finance experience.
- Approximately 4 - 6 years of relevant experience. Ideally this will be a combination of Big 4 experience/mid-tier chartered experience within Audit and/or working within a large commercial business.
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvement within Finance team.
- Demonstratable experience in month-end, year-end, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Demonstrable results oriented and business partnering attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated willingness to embrace organisational change and an ability to analyse and problem solve in the context of change and continuous improvement.

About the role
This is a full-time 2-year contract.
The base annual salary will be dependent upon skills and experience + 11% Superannuation, based on a 38-hour working week.
