This is a people first organisation that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Kyabram.
The Role:
Working closely with the Financial Controller, who’s been with the organisation since they opened, you will be able to work autonomously and efficiently. You will be responsible for financial reporting including month-end and year-end, tax, management accounting and balance sheet management.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly board reporting pack across all business entities
- Oversee & drive month end management report preparation in line with reporting timeline
- Ensure transactional data from general ledger is accurate and inline with expectations
- Engage with key external stakeholders where required
- Lodge documentation with banks, insurance and handle settlement of FX deals and deal analysis
- Detailed audit preparation and process outcomes
- Ad hoc commercial reporting and analytics
Skills and Experience:
- CA or CPA Qualified with strong Accounting experience
- Experienced with technical accounting
- Experience with medium to large ERP systems
- Intermediate to advanced with Excel
- Fantastic communication and problem-solving skills
