Senior Legal Counsel

Key responsibilities of this role include:  1. Leading and advising in relation to the legal workstream on energy projects from early stage development through to operations, including: Advising on acquisitions, sell downs, joint ventures, project development and commercial contracts in the energy sector Working closely with the project finance and technical teams to drive transaction deliverables consistent with project timelines Managing, drafting and/or reviewing legal documents and overseeing external lawyers, where relevant Identifying key project commercial and legal risks and preparing proposed solutions Managing project budgets in relation to the legal workstream Attending and providing support for internal review and approval processes
