We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Philanthropy Events to join our organisation. Reporting to the Philanthropy Group Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will lead a team responsible for planning, managing, and executing a range of events, including key fundraising, donor recognition and engagement events.
About our role
You will be responsible for:
- Strategic direction of The Smith Family's event program
- Lead a national team of event specialists to deliver on our strategy
- End-to-end development and implementation of event campaigns
- Manage relationships with supporters who are undertaking fundraising activity
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes
- Work collaboratively to develop tailored and engaging donor journeys
- Report on program financial, strategic, and operational performance on regular basis, continually evaluating and changing to business needs
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Tertiary qualification in related field and/or demonstrable transferable skills in a similar role
- Three years' experience leading teams to deliver fundraising events and campaigns
- Strong strategy, planning and budgeting skills
- High level of relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong experience developing segmented and engaging donor journeys
- High level of verbal and written communications skills
- Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check
