The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash management, Merchant Solutions, Customer lifecycle Management and delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.
 

Based in the newly formed Transaction Growth and Propositions team, the Propositions Crew have the unique responsibility to design, build and run the high profile customer propositions, that enable us to take the “best of CommBank” to the market, so we can grow our leading market share and drive greater customer value. Some of these propositions include; Real Estate, CommBank Yello for Business, Tradies Proposition, Sustainability Action Tool and Biz Enquiry. 

Do Work That Matters

Customer and Commercial

• Lead the design and development of market leading propositions that unify the ‘pay and get paid’ experience for small to mid-size businesses, to grow share of wallet, increase engagement and drive advocacy.
• Leverage networks and proactively seek out global best practice and new business partnering opportunities that will elevate our offerings.
• Lead partnership agreement negotiations to deliver on the strategy and actively manage the day-to-day relationships ongoing.
• Develop metrics and manage ongoing leadership reporting and updates to measure the success of propositions and initiatives.
• Work with teams across EBB, Marketing and Channels to bring the strategy to life, in a safe and sustainable way.
• Working closely with scrum masters and technology/data teams to agree and track key prioritised work to achieve the agreed strategy and metrics within timeframes.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members to develop process maps, journey maps and presentation materials at the highest standard, to support internal and external conversations.
• Advise on transaction banking market in terms of competition and industry changes.

Help us deliver a better future for Everyday Business Banking

• Strong business acumen with demonstrated business experience preferred
• Business related degree in either computer science/data engineering/informatics/data decisioning or similar qualifications with strong technical emphasis but also commercially oriented
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in legal contracting with partners
• 5+ years in product and proposition development and strategy (preferably in banking).
• 5+ years leading external partnership development and management.
• Prior experience in leading through adaptive organisational and cultural change with a strong bias to challenging existing ways of working.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Customer centred design and customer journey design experience.
• Proven ability to work across many lines of business to influence outcomes.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
