- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $139,787 to $161,663 + super
We're seeking someone to lead our brand-new Privacy & Data team within Valuation NSW. As Senior Manager, Privacy & Data, you will build and guide the team, overseeing privacy, information security, access, data governance, and analytics. Deliver top-notch data services for both Government and non-Government clients, all while staying compliant with legislation and Government policies.
About You
You will have experience leading teams, coupled with a background in roles emphasizing Privacy and information legislation and compliance requirements.
You will possess excellent stakeholder management skills and will be confident advising at all levels. With a strong analytical mindset, you will have good attention to detail and excellent time management abilities; enabling you and your team to meet tight deadlines on a regular basis.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in business, policy, law, information technology, data science or other relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Current drivers' license and willingness to travel.
About Us
Valuation NSW (VNSW) provides services to, supports, and where appropriately delegated, delivers relevant functions on behalf of the Valuer General of NSW.
This includes:
- Defining and setting the standards and policies for the land valuation system for rating and taxation purposes along with the determination of compensations through the compulsory acquisition process to ensure integrity within the NSW Government is upheld.
- Making valuations as well as monitoring, assurance and governance pertaining to the quality of the valuations undertaken relevant to both the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.
- Completing land valuations and determinations of compensation; and
- Providing other specialised valuation activities, services and determinations as and when required for other cluster or state-wide government partners.
