The Senior Marketing and Communications Advisor roles will assist in developing and executing the businesses Marketing and Communications strategies. This dynamic and hands-on role will be providing support to the Communications Manager and will develop the business’s brands and growth strategy built on the development and execution of our social media strategy and content across various platforms that will deeply connect with our target audiences.

Some things you may be doing: 

• Developing and executing Marketing and communication plans with the Marketing and Communications Manager that will create meaningful connections with customers, ensuring we achieve growth and build long-term relationships.
• Supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with delivering external and internal communications and marketing plans for a variety of audiences across several platforms.?
• Researching, writing, and publishing purposeful, creative, and informative social media and web content that engages audiences and drives brand awareness.
• Managing content execution across multi-channels such as EDM, LinkedIn, Instagram, SEO, Google, and social paid channels.
• Assisting with Event Management and activations to return to the business in awareness and growth or leverage across the businesses.

About you 

You are a considerate and engaging person, who will be a natural leader and relationship manager with a people-first approach. While performance-focused, you will be committed to excellence and long-term sustainability.  

To be successful: 

• Demonstrated experience in delivering quality outcomes in journalism, and media relations, marketing, and general external and internal communications. 
• Knowledge and skills in developing and delivering effective marketing campaigns and strategies with return to the business and an increase in brand and reputation. 
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including expertise in proofreading and editing. 
• Ability to lead a team and build value in people to drive momentum and growth within a department. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing timelines and foster great working relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders for a winning outcome. 

What you need to have or be willing to obtain: 

• Substantial demonstrated experience in external communications, senior corporate affairs, journalism, media/public relations, social media management or related role. 
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Journalism or Communications. 
• A current QLD Driver’s License 
• Up to date COVID-19 Vaccinations 
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)  
• A QLD Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
