• HEW 6 $89,012 - $96,126 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)

About the role

Working as part of the Dean of Students within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Portfolio, the Senior Officer, Academic Progress and Integrity will support the effective implementation of administrative and operational requirements in respect to Academic Progress and Integrity within the University student compliance framework.

The successful incumbent will be highly analytical with exceptional problem solving skills to develop and implement practical solutions for Progress and Integrity matters. You will be motivated and use your communication skills to build productive relationships with stakeholders. Excellent organisation and time management skills will enable the Senior Officer to meet deadlines, prioritise and allocate tasks in a high volume, student-support focused, environment.

As a Senior Officer in Academic Progress and Integrity, you will:

• Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions to Progress and Integrity matters based on stakeholder needs.
• Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders or key and influential individuals across the University.
• Seek feedback from clients regarding their satisfaction and perspective with the Academic Progress and Integrity services received, respond to feedback with openness and transparency and seek to identify ways to better service the customer.
• Investigate and probe for the facts and identify relevant solutions and selects the most appropriate from the range of alternatives to support Academic Progress and Integrity outcomes.
• Strive for excellence and consult regularly with stakeholders to clarify who requires the information, the purpose for which it is required, criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields.
• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Administrative experience in a large organisation which is governed through an extensive policy framework.
• Knowledge of Academic Progress and academic integrity policy, process and practice
• Experience applying a common set of rules in a multitude of circumstances.
