Come and discover the opportunity to join our People team as a Senior People Business Partner supporting our Australian Steel Markets (ASM) function. This position can be in Mascot NSW, Port Kembla NSW, Chullora NSW, Acacia Ridge QLD, or Braeside VIC.  ASM are a group within our Australian Steel Products business who are accountable and directly represent our hot and cold-rolled products developed in the Port Kembla Steel Mill including our iconic COLORBOND® steel and TRUECORE® steel products.  We make a valuable contribution to the community by developing, manufacturing, selling and delivering products that are inspirational and of high quality.

You’ll lead HR strategies for the ASM business across Australia, spanning People (Centre of Excellence) and Legal functions.

This is an opportunity for you to embrace a strategic, future focussed approach where you will deeply engage in the Business Partnering process. You’ll collaborate closely with lead business teams, supporting and guiding them to align with the ASM and People Strategies and Business Plans. Your knowledge and expertise will be key to developing and executing strategic plans that nurture engagement and drive performance. As a seasoned People Business Partner who is driven by a passion for excellence and ready to take your career to new heights, you will bring:

• a proven track record in developing effective HR and organisational development solutions at a business level
• exceptional influencing and relationship management skills, with experience in coaching and engaging diverse teams
• the ability to drive change and innovation, with the capability in translating customer requirements into improved offerings
• good understanding of contemporary HR processes, methodologies and tools, and Australian legislation
• demonstrated experience in recruitment and selection activities, learning and development, talent and succession planning, remuneration, and performance management and disciplinary actions
