As a Senior PM in our ePMO, you will closely collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully lead and execute projects and programs across the entire organisation, utilizing our internal ePMO framework. With multiple projects currently underway and in the pipeline, your first 12-18 months will involve immersing yourself in your role by managing both existing and new programs from the outset. Moreover, you will have a great opportunity to showcase your skills and capabilities early on by delivering an innovation project and thereby establishing the Innovation function.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Hands on management of all aspects of the project/program lifecycle (e.g. developing scope and requirements documents, supporting business case preparation, managing and reporting on project risks and issues, facilitating meetings and conducting workshops, assisting with System & UAT Test scripts creation etc).
- Lead project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
- Ensuring efficient budget management and resource allocation to maximise project effectiveness and meet objectives.
- Collaborating with our technology team and partners to achieve the best outcomes, while managing an iterative approach to delivery.
- Participating in late-night or evening calls from time-to-time for programs involving offshore external resources.
About you
With excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for delivering high quality business value outcomes, our ideal candidate will also possess:
- 7+ years of experience successfully managing medium to large complex projects
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to achieving results with a can-do mindset and proactive and hand's on approach
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good understanding of digital systems and technologies and how this enables business processes in a complex, enterprise environment.
- Candidate's who possess relevant PM Certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 or similar) will be highly regarded.
