Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze strategic issues for the MARS Program.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and liaise with organizations delivering initiatives for the program.
- Analyze evaluation reports and proposals to make recommendations for strategic direction and funding.
- Assist in developing effective communication between our department and external stakeholders.
- Represent the Division in relevant groups, committees, and public forums.
- Ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement programs and projects.
- Understanding of workplace health, safety, and wellbeing, or knowledge of the mining industry and its health and safety laws.
- Ability to work with various stakeholders to achieve results.
- Strong conceptual, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Commitment to meeting objectives and implementing appropriate risk strategies.
- Actively listens to and involves others in decision-making processes.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct and acts with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in preparing technical reports and written materials.
- Demonstrates good judgment, research, and analytical skills.
