About the Role:

We currently have a position available for a Senior Resourcing Advisor to join our high performing Talent team on a parental leave contract until February 2025. The Talent team plays an integral part in keeping John Holland moving forward and you will be working on projects currently underway and on the horizon.

The role will report into a Resourcing Manager and will support a business unit across various regions and ultimately drive the successful outcomes when it comes to talent and resourcing deliverables and strategies.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting and delivering project and business unit based recruitment, including liaison with site teams to ensure resource program targets are achieved
  • Support business units with their resource planning, internal talent identification and sourcing of critical roles
  • Completing 360 degree/end-to-end recruitment life cycle in accordance with JHG onboarding procedures
  • Supporting the broader talent team with key initiatives.
  • Guiding the relevant BU's and stakeholders on resourcing best practice

To be successful in this key role, you must have:

  • Ideally tertiary qualified, with significant internal and/ or agency experience within the construction, engineering or related industries.
  • Diligent with systems and processing of employee onboarding
  • Strong communication skills
  • You will have developed a level of expertise in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Be able to share and collaborate within a busy team environment
