Our client is looking for a skilled Systems Engineer who specializes in both SCCM and Intune to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing their endpoint management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the SCCM and Intune environments to ensure efficient software deployment, device management, and security compliance across our enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SCCM and Intune infrastructure to support software distribution, patch management, and device management capabilities.
- Develop and maintain SCCM task sequences, packages, and deployments, as well as Intune policies and profiles, to automate software installation, configuration, and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement SCCM and Intune-based initiatives to meet business needs and security standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM and Intune environments to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security posture.
- Plan and execute SCCM and Intune upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Active Directory and Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Provide expertise and support for SCCM and Intune-related projects, including evaluating new features, technologies, and integrations to enhance endpoint management capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and best practices for SCCM and Intune configuration and administration.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to endpoint management, SCCM, and Intune.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or experience equivelant.
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or administration roles, with a focus on SCCM and Intune administration and configuration.
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting SCCM and Intune infrastructure, including experience with SCCM Current Branch and Intune in Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Proficiency in SCCM task sequence development, software packaging, and deployment automation, as well as Intune policy and profile configuration for device management and compliance.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and Azure services.
- Experience with SCCM and Intune integration and co-management scenarios, including hybrid deployments and conditional access policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SCCM and Intune issues and drive resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- SCCM and/or Intune certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) preferred.
