About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Team Leader to oversee the health and well-being of our clients by delivering high-quality services in supported independent living (SIL) and community settings. The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for managing 6-7 houses located on the Central Coast.

The Opportunity

This role is Monday to Friday on-site.

As a Senior Team Leader, your responsibilities will include collaborating with participants to develop and implement individual support plans, as well as guiding and supervising direct support workers to achieve participants' agreed-upon support arrangements and goals.

Duties and responsibilities may encompass, but are not limited to:

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders using a person-centred approach.
• Managing a team of 50–60 support workers.
• Ensuring effective communication with support workers.
• Developing and implementing individual plans in collaboration with participants.
• Meeting audit requirements.
• Managing SIL Houses and the rosters of the support workers.
• Ensuring the delivery of excellent client service, including the assessment of client care, goal planning, and the successful transition of new participants into our houses.
• Conducting house and client audits to ensure compliance with NDIS legislative requirements.
• Leading the implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining client records and databases and ensuring accurate progress notes are reported by staff.
• Managing client escalations and complaints to achieve high-resolution levels.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Team Leadership role preferably managing SIL delivery.
• Diploma in Community Services.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification.
• National Police Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
• Valid Australian Driver's License and access to own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certificate in Leadership & Management (would be beneficial).
