Automotive workshop located in Tomago. We provide mechanical repairs, servicing and auto-electrical solutions to a broad range of customers in the Port Stephens, Newcastle & Hunter Valley through our workshop and on-site as required.
We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Tomago and take ownership of this great position. This role requires exceptional customer service attributes and acts as a conduit between our customer and workshop.
Duties include, though not limited to:
- Customer Service including vehicle drop off and collection and job progress updates including additional work;
- Customer enquiries, quoting and bookings;
- Liaising with mechanical staff to ensure jobs and job cards are completed efficiently;
- Reviewing and invoicing job cards;
- Ordering parts;
- Creditor data entry and ensuring parts are allocated to jobs efficiently;
- Accounts Receivable.
Skills and experience
- Experience in the automotive industry;
- Strong knowledge of motor vehicles, parts and services;
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal);
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage competing objectives;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a busy environment;
- Current manual drivers licence;
- Experience in Xero, Workshop Mate and Microsoft Office Suite preferred but not essential.
