We are on the look out for an experienced Service Delivery Lead that is looking for a short term contract in Brisbane joining one of our largest energy clients.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Architectures/Solution Designs to meet company business and cyber-security requirements, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Process Control Networks (PCN)
- Implement and maintain technical solutions based on the above solution architectures/designs
- Maintain best practice technology standards, procedures, documentation and guidelines incorporating comprehensive responses to cybersecurity issues
- Manage systems for the efficient management/monitoring of the technology environment, including SCADA and PCN.
- Understand the Technology Strategy and Roadmap and provide input as required
- Lead or assist in the delivery of initiatives and projects as defined in the Technology Strategy and Roadmap
- Oversee the effective and efficient operation of all technology systems, including liaising with external vendors to resolve issues as required
- Manage the configuration of systems and equipment as required to support the business
- Provide direct support of communications systems across the business and provide input and / or recommendations to reduce costs or enhance the service
- Provide Level 2/3 support to both the company helpdesk and outsourcing partners
- Implement protocols for updating software and operating systems, including review/audit procedures and change management
- Research new technologies that may assist in security and technological efficiency improvements
- Travel to the Surat Basin to provide on-site field support from time-to-time
- Apply Workplace Health and Safety standards to all business activity
- Comply with all company policies and procedures as well as government legislation and regulations
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Key Skills/ Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a services/help desk or internal ICT team
- Completion of a Bachelor degree in an IT discipline is preferable
- Experience in the design and development of information technology systems
- Strong customer service orientation, with a genuine interest in supporting people in all areas across the business with their technology needs
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Microsoft Operating Systems
- Desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and networked multi-function printers
- ERP systems
- Cloud architecture
