Service Development Officer

We are looking to recruit you for an exciting new role as a Service Development Officer.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Service Development Officer is tasked with advancing our mission by building meaningful connections with potential stakeholders and funders across various industries. This role plays a crucial part in fostering sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and cultivating strong relationships with our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading efforts to expand Essential Personnel services which include NDIS lifestyle services, DES, and exploring new market opportunities.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the organisation's reputation in the Wheatbelt and Perth metropolitan areas.
- Conducting thorough research, analysis, and evaluation of growth opportunities, identifying emerging issues, and developing well-supported options, business cases, and tender and grant applications.
- Managing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation for identified growth options and projects.
- Evaluating success metrics to assess the feasibility and viability of growth opportunities through rigorous risk-return and cost-benefit analyses.
- Building productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, involving them in discussions and plans for growth and expansion.
- Promoting the organisation's services, mission, and focus to elevate its profile and brand.
- Exhibiting a high level of self-motivation, efficiency, and enthusiasm to achieve established key performance indicators.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in an applicable field OR extensive experience in research, business development, and/or growth-related project management
- Demonstrated highly developed analytical and project management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of commissioning processes
- Proficiency in designing, analysing, and executing new or proposed growth-related projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal, engagement, and facilitation skills, resulting in collaborative and successful outcomes.
- Report writing skills
- Capability to employ reverse marketing strategies to boost customer numbers within the service.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain key relationships.
- Knowledgeable about the employment market and aware of barriers affecting individuals in gaining or maintaining employment.
- Aptitude for handling situations with compassion and patience.

- Salary range $75-$80,000 commensurate with experience.
- Salary Sacrifice options for living expenses to a maximum of $15,900 per year and meal entertainment facility up to $2,650 per year.

This role may require regular travel and working from our several locations within WA.
