About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager you will ensure the efficient and secure running of the Brisbane Service Office and mentoring of service personnel. You will be responsible for providing service and technical assistance to our valued customers by way of field performance and allocate and coordinate customer service tasks in accordance with service schedules and requests for service assistance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the smooth running of the Queensland Service Team. Develop trust and cohesion between team members and encourage a professional culture of teamwork and support
- Installation and commissioning of machinery, attachments, parts, and equipment and demonstrate operation in accordance with contracted guarantees
- Plan and maintain target goals for the service team skill set/knowledge base Facilitate in house training as necessary and arrange external training when required
- When Service Engineers unavailable take up any jobs that require attention, including machine breakdown calls
- Attend sites each week building relationships with customers whilst looking for opportunities of additional work
- Ensure all work conducted by the Queensland Service Team is carried out to expected standards and within budgeted timeframes
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand the requirements placed upon the Service Department
- Provide accurate quotations and estimates for service-related tasks as required by customers
- Analyse the recovery of the Queensland Service Team members and review and discuss with the National Service Manager. Implement strategies of continuous improvement within this area
- Perform service-related administration tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Assume the role of primary point of contact for all out of hour’s business
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the installation and support of food processing/industrial equipment.
Additionally, you will have:
- Electrical Trade qualification – QLD Unrestricted Electrical Work Licence
- Ability to lead a small team of Service personnel
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite of products
- Current drivers’ licence
