The NDIS Service Manager will help to ensure high standard of care is met across the small NDIS accommodation services based close to Richlands, QLD which include person centered care, responsive and support the residents with disability to live as well and independently as is possible. To help achieve this purpose, the Service Manager will provide effective support and leadership to the team of Managers and staff across the South Brisbane region.
Duties:
- Lead the team of Managers, clinical and care staff across three small disability accommodation services to ensure appropriate care are delivered that meet residents needs.
- Develop a continuous improvement culture and mentor teams in the resolution of disability care, issues and problems.
- Build strong relationships with the wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate the ongoing growth and delivery of quality services to residents.
- Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements including appropriate Injury Risk Management.
- Tertiary qualifications in human services or equivalent experience in Community/NDIS (essential).
- Experience in managing budgets and interpreting financial information.
- A current and valid QLD Driver's Licence.
