We are a market leading Electronic Security integrator, servicing the commercial, education and government markets.
About the role:
We are looking for a Service Manager to work with a growing team of Electronics installation and service Technicians.
You will be required to understand client projects, allocate Technicians and the required product parts to ensure each project is completed efficiently.
Being the first major point of contact with customers, a professional and confident manner is a must. You will need to build rapport with major clients, achieve client satisfaction, and lock in repeat business. This role is supported by a Service Co-Ordinator.
Duties include:
- allocate work to Technicians to meet customer needs.
- answer calls, handle customer queries and action appropriately
- manage service invoicing
- provide technical support to clients
- daily liaison with our 24/7 control room, Technicians, management, and warehouse regarding deliveries, back orders, products and customer accounts
- prepare reports, assist with sales & marketing activities and general assistance as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- strong technical background in Electronic Security installations and service
- well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- an energetic, willing approach to serving customers
- leadership qualities that technicians will respect and follow.
- proficient computer and database management skills
- effective influencing skills and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude essential.
Experience with simPRO Job Management Software would be an advantage.
