We are currently seeking an experienced Service Managerto join our client's team in a permanent capacity, and support them across their businesses in WA. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of service operations.

About the role
Reporting to the General manager, you will be the driving force behind efficiency, quality, and cost optimisation in their busy service department. You will have the ability to work within a team to set clear goals while you mentor and drive individual growth to boost team efficiency.
Duties
- To lead and oversee the service team's daily operations for professional and timely work performance
- Provide both workshop and remote technical support to the service team as and when required
- Proactively be the first point of contact for customers, management, and your team.
- Create and execute customer service strategies, both internal and external, to elevate the overall customer experience
- Build connections and nurture your team by consistently offering leadership that inspires and motivates
- Identify additional areas for improvement throughout the service department and implement appropriate action plan
- Monitoring Service Department performance, efficiency, and profitability
- Quality Control: Ensure all services are performed to the highest standards and in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of the service department. Prepare and manage quotes, contracts, and tenders.
Required
- Trade qualified (Mechanical) - Advantageous
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a service management role
- Ideally past experience as aMaintenance/ Repairs/ Service Manager
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Solid understanding of commercial management and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence.
