The job
As Southern Region Technical Sales Representative, you will spend the majority of your day out on the road, meeting clients and selling our products and services.
- You will assist with client events, promotions, sponsorships and field days.
- Whilst not on the road, you will spend your time planning ahead, checking client satisfaction and organising future meetings.
Based initially from home near the Murray River, your core sales area will encompass Northern Victoria and the Southern NSW Riverina.

Day to day activity
- Plan call cycles and sales strategies
- Build business by contacting and calling on existing and potential clients.
- Place orders (through our head office distribution centre)
- Client service including technical support (with the help of technical staff)
- Client and support staff training (with the help of technical staff)
- Organise and help deliver client events, promotions and field days.
- Monitor and report on opportunities, sales and competitor activity.
Skills and experience
- Proven field sales experience
- Ability to relate to clients, build trust and identify opportunities
- A positive "can do / how do we make this work" approach to life
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Scrupulous attention to detail
- Ability to work to a budget and timeline
- Full, clean driver’s license
Irrigation experience and/or a horticultural background would be valuable although not essential as training will be provided.
