Spare Parts Officer
AJ Baker & Sons are a fourth generation, family owned company, established in 1920 with branches throughout Australia. Located in WA, SA, NSW, VIC & QLD, we specialise in; supply, installation, service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning for supermarkets and other commercial businesses.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, suitably qualified and experienced Spare Parts Officer to join the Perth team on a permanent fulltime basis.
You will be responsible for:
- Interpret, enter and process Spare Parts requests and orders from customers
- Interpret Spare Parts manuals
- Receive and dispatch parts orders
- Follow up, quote & approval of freight from suppliers
- Assist in keeping accurate records of parts delivered, received and held, including correctly labeling and storing of parts
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock counts
- Maintain Pronto inventory & warehouse records and codes
- Assist with pre-start checks for forklifts
- Provide support for the Spare Parts Lead & Purchasing Officer
To be a successful candidate, you will possess:
- Permanent rights to work in Australia
- C class Driving Licence
- High Risk LF Licence (or willing to complete on employment)
- Experience in an inventory control environment
- Experience in and interpretation of Spare Parts
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Pronto
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and ability to multi-task
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
