Western Health is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to work within the Paediatric Program of its Integrated Community Health Service in a new NDIS Rapid Access Program. Working within a multidisciplinary team and alongside community paediatricians, you will be enabling young people and their families to achieve their goals and reach their potential.
As part of the NDIS Rapid Access program, you will be working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to conduct autism assessments and initial triage assessments for children referred to the Paediatric service. You will support families with onward referral to community based and NDIS ECEI partners. You will be supported to progress your career with quality supervision and professional development opportunities by working alongside medical and allied health clinicians from our specialist clinics.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Be an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist in a paediatric setting that is committed to providing high quality evidence based paediatric services to young people and their families
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and current be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Ideally have experience working within an autism assessment space
- Enjoy working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes for your client and community
- Be an effective communicator
