State Manager

We are looking for an energised and career driven State Managerto oversee all aspects of our retail operations across our Victorian and NZ stores. As the State Manager you are first point of contact for communication, a mentor to fellow Regional Managers and you are required to coach and lead your State to success. 

Please Note: Candidates must be able to travel to New Zealand.

• Connecting with your team of Store Managers to coach, develop and mentor store teams. 
• Contributing to the overall commerciality of the business by leading your team to achieve all KPIs and financial targets whilst maintaining visual merchandising standards and customer experience.
• Monitoring budgets, rosters and sales to ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Implement and support business initiatives, strategies and changes as directed by the National Retail Manager and/or Company for your State and assist other Regional Managers where needed.
• Working with HR to ensure you have the right team in the right role. Oversee the State’s ability to attract, motivate, develop and retain high performing Store Managers and Team members.
• Driving an outstanding customer experience while overseeing your team to convert traffic into customers.
• Work with store teams to increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty. 
• Proactively ensure all store teams have above standard training across all Jeanswest principals and standards.  
   

• Have experience in Area/Regional Retail management.
• Fashion Retail experience is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Proven track record of driving and delivering KPIs.
• Strong communication skills & a collaborative leadership style to develop meaningful relationships across the brand.
• A commercial and customer centric mind set.
• Ability the effectively coach and develop store teams.
• Take pride in your personal style & presentation. 
• Strong operational, analytical and administrative skills.
• Pro-active, highly driven individual with the ability to work under pressure and achieve set targets.
• Positive and optimistic outlook.
