The Company:
The client is an Australian founded company launched in 2008 that specializes in the distribution of security products from renowned vendors such as Honeywell, Bosch, and Axis Communications. The company provides security products and solutions such as Access Control, CCTV, and Alarms and Monitoring Systems for various industries, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. The Client is backed by a large multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company while operating as their own brand and has since become the largest distributor in Australia.

Qualities They Would Love To See In You:
Strong leadership skills and proven experience in a leadership position
Strategic thinking and experience formulating successful Go-To-Market strategies that will have positive impact on the business
Excellent communication skills and an approachable nature - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to ensure effective communication and collaboration across different teams
Be adaptable to changes in the market, industry, and customer needs, and able to pivot quickly and adjust strategies as needed to stay competitive and meet business objectives
Experienced with security products, whether that be from a manufacturer, distributor or reseller perspective
Results driven and ready to motivate and drive a Sales team to achieve their KPI’s and targets in line with strategic goals

About The Role:
Managing and mentoring a team of up to 20 sales representatives - this could include setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching and training, and handling personnel issues.
The sales manager would be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive revenue and growth for the business - this could involve identifying target markets, developing marketing campaigns, and creating sales plans that align with the company's overall objectives
Recruiting, training, and developing existing and future staff and facilitating their individual and team successes, including setting and managing expectations with employees
Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, as well as potential threats to the business - this could include monitoring sales performance, tracking industry trends, and analysing customer feedback to inform business decisions.
Working closely with other departments in the company, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall business objectives
Staying up to date with industry news and developments.
