Store Development Coordinator

Banjo's, Australia's leading local bakery cafe, is seeking a talentedStore Development Coordinator to join our growing team!

In this key role, you will be working closely with our Senior Project Manager to maintain the look and feel of Banjo's Bakery Cafes as we head into an era of expansion across Australia. 

Your role will be to:

• Prepare design concepts, and document preliminary scope of works, design approval documents and construction documentation.
• Research material selection, provide analysis, planning and monitoring of Banjo’s Store Development projects with an emphasis on maintaining the Banjo’s brand.
• Ensure design and construction documentation complies with Banjo’s Corporate guidelines in terms of store branding, fit-out and functionality requirements.
• Maintain and document Banjo’s store design standards, specifications, and registers.
• Ensure communications with Franchisees, Banjo’s Corporate Team and external providers such as Property Developers, Architects and Designers are undertaken within a professional manner to ensure the efficient completion of all projects.
• Provide administrative and record keeping functions in alignment with Banjo’s policies and procedures and legislative compliance for Store Development projects.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has formal qualifications in Architecture, Environment Design and/or Interior Design combined with industry experience in interior design or a related field.
• Possesses excellent design software skills and is familiar with working in both 2D and 3D modelling.
• Has experience in the administration of construction contracts and management of external building contractors.
• Is able to monitor project compliance through the ability to reference and understand the NCC (National Construction Code) and identify relevant Australian Standards
• Can demonstrate strong time management and the ability to simultaneously work across multiple projects.
• Has an understanding of construction budgets and the interaction of design scope.
• Is a clear communicator with a knack for translating ideas into detailed documentation. 
• Has a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality design.

• Have experience in the QSR or food and beverage industries.
• Enjoy working on fast-paced projects with tight deadlines.
