Job description

If this resonates with you, we have an opportunity for you to join our team as a Learning & Development Coordinator.

About the Role: 

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving the organisation's learning and development initiatives. Your primary focus will involve supporting and coordinating the planning, distribution and analytical aspects of TDN’s training programs, all aimed at fostering employee growth and skill development.  As an integral part of the team, you'll contribute to the implementation of learning and development initiatives that empower our employees and advance our organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with trainers, facilitators, and participants to organise and schedule training sessions. 
  • Manage the enrolment process for training programs, track participant enrolments, and oversee the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conduct needs assessments, prepare training materials, and coordinate training room setup to facilitate effective learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, competence, and evaluations. Generate reports for monitoring, evaluation, and compliance purposes.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to training records
  • Act as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and communicate training schedules and updates to participants.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff undertaking courses and apprenticeships, monitor progress, and ensure successful completion.

Qualifications and Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in learning and development coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of training evaluation methods and techniques.
  • Certificate IV – Training and Assessment or similar

Essential Requirements:

  • National Police Check & WWVP Registration.
  • A valid unrestricted driver's license.
