The Opportunity
We’re inviting dedicated and experienced individuals to join our expanding team in either a full-time, independent contractor, or flexible work arrangement capacity. Work remotely with schedule autonomy while making a meaningful difference in the lives of NDIS participants.
Roles Available
Support Coordinator: Work closely with NDIS participants to help them find the right support and guide them on their journey to achieving their NDIS goals.
Specialist Support Coordinator: Provide a higher level of support coordination to participants with complex needs, crafting strategies, and connecting them to a spectrum of services and support networks.
As a Specialist Support Coordinator, or Support Coordinator with Kukoon, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support services to participants with complex needs. You will have the opportunity to:
- Craft and execute strategies to maximize participants' plan goals.
- Encourage autonomy through education, capacity building, and choice.
- Monitor effectiveness and adjust services for optimal participant outcomes.
- Connect individuals to a spectrum of services and support networks.
- Champion a mindset that prioritizes strengths, independence, and personal meaning.
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and interactions.
- Generate comprehensive reports to identify improvements and successes.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Relationship Building
- Budget Monitoring & Expenditure Management

About You:
To excel in this role, you will:
- Have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health, or a relevant field, with membership of your applicable professional body or the capacity to join prior to commencement.
- Demonstrate experience working with clients with complex needs and a strong understanding of the service system and barriers impacting participants.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Honed attention to detail
- Have proven experience forming positive professional relationships with NDIS service agencies and support services.
- Be resilient and initiative-driven, with strong problem-solving and networking skills.
- Be process-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Possess excellent computer and CRM skills.
You Will Need:
100 points of ID.
Full Australian working rights.
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working with Children’s Check.
Laptop or PC and strong, stable internet connection.
