About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant with broad experience in the health care sector to join our Rehabilitation at Home team. Be part of a growing service that supports hospital demand management and meets individual preferences for quality care at home.
On a daily basis you will:
- Support the daily operations of the Rehab at Home program in accordance with the model of care
- Manage the administration component of the program's referral management and intake function
- Support clients through the onboarding process, program engagement and discharge
- Manage the administration of the digital care platform
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including SVVH colleagues and external service providers
- Participate in improvement initiatives and service development activities to support the growth of the program nationally
Your Contribution
- Knowledge, experience and ability to provide advanced level administrative support
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working within a health care setting including knowledge of general medical and healthcare terminology
- Experience using client record management systems and databases
