Your new role
We are currently seeking a talented Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support, with a focus on Windows server deployment, cloud environment management, and advanced Active Directory administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure or AWS, along with proficiency in SCCM application packing, VMware, Office 365, and backup systems and storage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and networks.
- Deploy and manage Windows server 2016 and 2022, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work in a cloud environment, preferably with experience in Azure or AWS, to support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.
- Utilize advanced Active Directory skills to manage user accounts, security groups, and group policies.
- Proficiently perform SCCM application packing and distribution, ensuring software delivery across the organisation.
- Demonstrate expertise in VMware, managing virtualized environments and resolving any related issues.
- Administer Office 365 applications, including user management, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain backup systems and storage, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in providing 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge and experience in deploying and managing Windows server 2016 and 2022.
- Previous work experience in a cloud environment, with a preference for Azure or AWS.
- Advanced level skills in Active Directory administration.
- Proficiency in SCCM application packing and distribution.
- Experience with VMware and managing virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications and administration.
- Knowledge of backup systems and storage technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
