Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia.
Job Description
Due to an internal promotion an opportunity exists for a Talent Acquisition Analyst - Early Talent to join the Talent Acquisition team based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the TA Team Leader - Corporate, you will be responsible for managing all recruitment activity associated with our Early Talent hiring including Vacation, Graduate, Apprentice and New to Industry Programs. You will be supported by a capable administration team to schedule interviews and manage full pre-employment check process and candidates are handed over after acceptance to our onboarding team.
This exciting role where you will be the face and voice for our entry level roles. It is a truly varied role that will see you accountable for:

• Managing the full recruitment cycle process from job brief through to offer acceptance
• Design recruitment strategy and delivery as per project plan
• Coordination and participation of Assessment Centres
• Providing candidates and hiring managers with exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process through timely and honest communication
• Collaborating with HR and Hiring Managers identifying job requirements and determining qualification criteria for candidates while providing support/advice to Hiring Managers throughout candidate selection
• Actively support our Diversity and Inclusion strategy
• Attendance at career days

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years recruitment experience
• Experience managing bulk recruitment projects
• Experience delivering Assessment Centres
• Dedicated to adopting standard recruitment practice and ensure activity is recorded in real time in the ATS

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have exceptional coordination and problem-solving skills, be an effective communicator and have a desire to provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders along with a drive to deliver on goals and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
