Work in one of Brisbane's premier law firms working closely with HR and Management in a collaborative and dynamic supportive team. This role would suit an experienced Legal Human Resources Coordinator / Talent Acquisition with legal industry experience coming from a similar background having worked for a national law firm.
Your new opportunity awaits working out of their Brisbane office where you can contribute to the ongoing success working alongside the seniors implementing HR initiatives in a high performing team. As an integral part of the HR team who works closely with management you will recruit talented people, nurture their development to be successful and have them enjoy a long career with the firm.
Your day will offer variety including but not limited to attracting talent to the firm, act as the point of contact with key suppliers and communicate effectively; arrange interviews and identify the key components required to fill certain roles; identify improvements; collaborate with the HR team to attract talent, performance and remuneration reviews;
Your day will include:
- Deliver early career recruitment initiatives - attract top talent as in Graduates;
- Assisting a team of professional and support staff (including ongoing policies and procedures)
- Coordinate the full cycle of recruitment for both legal and business services
- Recruitment and internal support staff including law clerks, support staff
- Strong drafting skills for the position descriptions required for each role;
- Maintain and develop candidate pipelines for current and future roles;
- Thorough checks taken onboard with new employees and keep records updated on all employees;
- Collaborate and work on all HR policies and procedures etc.
About you:
- Experience with HR and various recruitment software;
- Have a strong attention to detail, are proactive and a tech-savvy team player.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and lead with emotional intelligence
- At least 3 years minimum experience coming from a similar background in legal HR with strong organisational skills;
- Enjoy building internal and external relationships and pride yourself on problem solving
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate your previous experience in HR working for a law firm (at least 3 years in a similar role within the legal industry). You will utilise your forward thinking approach to ensure that the team has what they need in order to succeed!
